Media: NBM invests in media companies that create, curate and distribute sports, music, business, entertainment and news content. We focus on a growth markets in Southeast Asia, India, MENA and Latin America.
Media Technology: NBM invests in media-tech companies — data analytics for content and advertising, e-commerce and content-monetizations solutions, platforms — that enable media companies globally to better serve their audiences and grow. We are geographically agnostic for our tech portfolio.

Marcus leads strategy, advisory and fundraising for NBM.
The former top editor of both The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, Marcus has been an operating executive and advised media and technology companies in the U.S., Asia and Europe.
Since co-founding NBM in 2013, he has joined the boards of or advised portfolio companies in Latin America, Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Sasa is the Chair of NBM’s Investment Committee.
Before founding NBM Sasa co-founded and served as the founding CEO of Media Development Loan Fund, mission-driven investment fund providing debt and equity financing to independent media companies in developing world. During Sasa’s 16 year tenure, MDLF provided USD100 million in different forms of financing.
Prior to MDLF, Sasa was a journalist in Yugoslavia, where he served as the first CEO of Radio B-92 in Belgrade and Editor in Chief of magazine “NON”.
Stuart is NBM’s general counsel. He works closely with a number of our portfolio companies on legal issues as well, and sits on the boards of several of our enterprise solution companies.
Before joining NBM, Stuart was the Chief Operating Officer of Reuters news, then the largest independent news organization in the world. Earlier in his career he worked with a significant information services investor and operator in Russia and Eastern Europe and was the General Counsel of The Wall Street Journal.
Turi manages a significant proportion of NBM’s dealflow, with a particular focus on EMEA. He sits on the boards of NBM portfolio companies in the US, Europe, the Middle East and India.
Before joining NBM, Turi advised multiple early and later stage media and media tech companies. In 2012, Turi exited his company Demotix to Bill Gates’ Corbis Images. Demotix, which he founded in 2007, had become the world’s largest network of photojournalists.
Jennifer is NBM’s administrator. She provides administrative support and assistance to the team and handles multiple operating and business responsibilities.
Before joining NBM, Jennifer was an executive aide at Washington Post and prior to that she was a legal assistant at Gallagher Boland & Meiburger, an energy-industry law firm.
